Network Administration

  • Setup and administration of user and group accounts
  • Organization and creation of shared and individual folders, to include setting up the appropriate security and access policies
  • Setup and continued security for auditing of the companies sensitive data (Network Suppliers will not have direct access to sensitive data.)
  • Ensure maximum availability of servers by performing quarterly base lines and then setting alert thresholds for CPU, memory, hard drive and network utilization
  • Assist users in maximizing workflow processes through shared folders and groups

Provide ongoing security  and Anti-Virus enhancements as required

 

Network Management and Support

·        24 hour monitoring of all key components with alert notifications to key personnel in case of failure

o     Server

o     Routers

o     Switches

o     Hubs

o     Network Printers

o     Critical workstations as applicable

·        Monitor the areas of these devices for general connectivity and performance

·        Set performance thresholds to provide maximum availability and performance

·        Provide a monthly report of availability and performance of key components

·        Remote troubleshooting and repair of all network devices

  • Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of all network devices
  • Coordination and implementation of upgrades and patches to network hardware and software
  • Implement and manage network operating system policies, procedures, configurations and settings

 

Internet Control

  • Implementation of internet security policies and procedures 
  • Ensure internet availability
  • Control user access
  • Provide security
  • Provide usage and activity reports

 

Documentation

  • Analyze and document network diagram of all network devices, cabling, and peripherals
  • Implementation and documentation of standard policies and procedures
  • Documentation of business specific policies and procedures

 

Data Backup Program

  • Centralized management of all enterprise wide storage activities
  • Backup job notification routing methods including pager, e-mail, SNMP traps, and trouble ticket logging
  • Configuration of backup software and hardware for backups schemes meeting client requirements
  • Monitor backup successes or failure
  • Restoration of deleted files
  • Recovery of failed servers in conjunction with on-site contractors
Weekly report on success or failure of backups
